Job summary

CSS Farms, a multi-state agricultural business, seeks an Equipment & Operations Intern to learn hands-on skills with the Equipment Management Team. Based in Bliss, NY, you will gain exposure to field work, calibration, and sourcing projects.

You will also participate in educational opportunities to grow leadership and technical skills while supporting maintenance, planting, and irrigation tasks. This part-time internship runs May–Aug with typical hours 7 AM–5 PM, Monday–Friday, and flexible

Qualifications

• Pursuing Associates or Bachelor's degree in relevant fields.
• Valid driverlicense or the ability to obtain one.
• Strong communication and teamwork.
• Tech savvy with basic software like Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Support the site Equipment Manager with maintenance, repair, calibration, and operation of field equipment
• Assist with fabrication, modification, and solving technical problems on equipment
• Participate in equipment sourcing and purchasing
• Provide support for equipment-related inventory
• Assist with planting, harvesting, and irrigation management as necessary
• Give and receive real-time performance feedback to support growth and leadership development
• Take on other tasks as needed
