Job summary

CSS Farms is offering an Equipment & Operations Summer Internship in Pasco, WA for 2027. This part-time internship provides hands-on learning with the Equipment Management Team across the chip potato operation, including field work, projects, and educational opportunities.

You will assist with maintenance, calibration, and operation of field equipment, support fabrications, and participate in sourcing and inventory tasks while developing leadership and practical skills in a real farm setting.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an associates or bachelor’s degree in relevant agricultural field.
• Valid driver’s license or ability to obtain one.
• Pass vehicle insurance verification.

Responsibilities

• Support the site Equipment Manager with maintenance, repair, calibration, and operation of field equipment.
• Assist with fabrication, modification, and solving technical problems on equipment.
• Participate in equipment sourcing and purchasing.
• Provide support for equipment related inventory.
• Assist with planting, harvesting, and irrigation management as necessary.
• Give and receive real‑time performance feedback to further your growth and leadership development.
• Take on other tasks and responsibilities, as needed.
