Job summary

You will build bench setups, bring up first silicon, and characterize it against spec using our protocols, mentored by the senior ASIC design lead. The role emphasizes hands-on lab work, test plan creation, data analysis in Python or MATLAB, and documentation for verification history.

Qualifications

• Education in electrical or bioengineering with analog front-end experience.
• No professional experience required if strong fundamentals are demonstrated.
• Familiarity with electrode-tissue interface concepts and lab techniques.

Responsibilities

• Bench test setup: build and maintain fixtures and instrumentation for first silicon.
• Test plans & protocols: co-develop bench tests with ASIC team respecting verification rigor.
• Independent characterization: measure analog front end against specs per channel and array.
• System integration testing: support ASIC integration with electrode array and lead.
• Documentation: produce reports for verification history files.
• Growth: become primary owner of AFE characterization test suite as program scales.
