Creative Financial Staffing, LLC is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager in Colorado to own the accounting function in a hands-on, entrepreneurial environment. You will supervise day-to-day close processes and collaborate closely with leadership to deliver accurate financial reporting.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of progressive accounting experience and a strong understanding of the full accounting cycle, preferably with construction or real estate development exposure.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Hands-on Accounting Manager/Controller or similar role.
• Strong understanding of the full accounting cycle.
• Experience in construction or real estate development preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own and oversee the day-to-day accounting function.
• Manage the full accounting cycle: AP, AR, GL, month-end close.
• Prepare and review monthly financial statements and reports.
• Perform account reconciliations; ensure data integrity.
• Manage cash activity, banking, and reconciliations.
• Oversee invoicing, bill payments, and collections.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.
• Maintain project-related accounting records.
• Provide financial information to leadership.
• Ensure proper accounting controls and processes.
• Coordinate with outside CPA firms and vendors.
