Greenfield Milling, a Denver-based manufacturing company, is seeking an Accounting Manager to join our team. The role is hands-on, focusing on day-to-day accounting operations with potential growth into people management as the team expands.

You will work in our downtown Denver office and drive financial cleanup and accurate reporting. You will manage revenue recognition, month-end close, budgeting, and ERP system integrity, partnering with cross-functional teams to improve processes and provide

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; CPA a plus.
• 5+ years in manufacturing accounting or related field.
• Strong GAAP knowledge with financial reporting experience.
• Proficient in accounting software and ERP; advanced Excel.

Responsibilities

• Understand and prepare revenue recognition on timely basis.
• Review and optimize accounting processes and controls.
• Prepare and analyze financial and operational reports; reports for regulators, banks, investors.
• Coordinate preparation of budgets and forecasts.
• Manage monthly close and month-end statements.
• Support ERP usage and data integrity; identify opportunities to automate.
• Assist with payroll-related entries and reconciliations.
• Review historical account discrepancies during cleanup.
