Eaton’s IS AER FED division is seeking an Acceptance Test Technician - 1st Shift to join our team in Glenolden, PA. The core hours are 7 am - 3:30 pm, M-F, with an hourly rate of $20.00.

The Acceptance Test Technician tests products for ATP compliance and drawings, maintains records, and performs basic troubleshooting while following 5S+ standards to ensure quality and safety. This role requires a high school diploma and mechanical experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a mechanical environment.
• Eaton will not sponsor immigration or CPT/OPT/STEM OPT or related work-authorisation.
• No relocation benefits; candidates within 50 miles of Glenolden, PA considered.
• Access to export-controlled information; must be a U.S. person as defined by regulations.

Responsibilities

• Utilize test fixtures and equipment to verify product compliance with ATPs and drawings and maintain ATP records.
• Complete documentation such as test data sheets, time sheets, and routers.
• Perform preliminary troubleshooting and diagnose common failure modes when tests fail.
• Assemble mechanical components from work orders, drawings, and instructions.
• Prioritize work based on production dispatch and deadlines.
• Monitor workload and request assistance to meet customer demand.
• Identify and initiate continuous improvement for product safety, quality, and efficiency.
• Maintain an organized and clean area per 5S+ standards.
