Job summary

Responsibilities

  • Verify product compliance with Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP) and drawings; maintain ATP records.
  • Complete documentation such as test data sheets, time sheets, and routers.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose common failure modes during test.
  • Assemble mechanical components from work orders and drawings per instructions.
  • Prioritize work based on production dispatch; monitor workload and request help to meet demand.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in product safety, quality, and efficiency.
  • Maintain a clean, organized area per 5S+ standards.

Eaton’s IS AER FED division is currently seeking a Acceptance Test Technician - 1st Shift to join our team in Glenolden, PA!

The is a 1st shift position and the core hours are 7 am - 3:30 pm, M-F.

The hourly rate for this position is $20.00 per hour.

What you’ll do:
  • Utilize test fixtures and test equipment to verify product compliance to Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP) / drawings and maintain accurate ATP records
  • Complete all required documentation such as test data sheets, time sheets, and routers
  • Perform preliminary troubleshooting and diagnose common failure modes when test failures occur.
  • Works from work orders, engineering drawings, and visual/written work instructions to assemble mechanical components.
  • Prioritize work based on production dispatch
  • Monitor workload and request assistance from leader when necessary to meet customer demand
  • Identify and initiate continuous improvement for product safety, quality, and efficiency.
  • Maintain an organized and clean are per 5S+ standards
Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a mechanical environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years of testing experience in a manufacturing environment.
Skills:
  • Understand basic pressure theory
  • Knowledge of High and Low pressure test vessels and safety precautions when working
  • Proper use of Mil-Spec oils and gasses
