Job summary

Fortress Nutrition, LLC is seeking a strong, hands-on 2nd Shift Production Supervisor to join our growing food and beverage operations. You’ll be on the floor with the team, troubleshooting equipment, supporting repairs, and driving uptime in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will supervise production staff, ensure safety and quality, and communicate daily results to leadership. This role requires leadership experience, English proficiency, and flexibility to work overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience leading, overseeing, and directing a team (including performance management, coaching, training, disciplinaries, interviewing, etc.)
• Strong communication and organization skills
• Ability to quickly and thoughtfully adjust priorities and adapt to changes in production as needed
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English
• Flexibility to work overtime during the week and weekends as needed

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support production employees during the shift.
• Keep the work area safe, clean, and compliant with food safety rules.
• Ensure daily production goals are met while maintaining product quality and food safety.
• Work side-by-side with team members to solve problems as they come up.
• Help train, motivate, and grow team members, as well as handle sensitive employee interactions, including disciplinary actions, performance management, corrective action, separations, etc.
• Promote continuous improvement throughout the department and work area.
• Provide daily production reports to the Director of Operations.
