Job summary

Fortress Nutrition, LLC is seeking a hands-on 1st Shift Production Supervisor to lead on the production floor in our food & beverage operations. The role requires active supervision, troubleshooting, and driving uptime in a fast-paced plant environment.

You will supervise a shift, train and coach team members, ensure safety and quality standards, and collaborate with maintenance and quality teams to meet daily goals.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience leading, overseeing, and directing a team (including performance management, coaching, training, disciplinaries, interviewing, etc.)
• Strong communication and organization skills
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English
• Flexibility to work overtime during the week and weekends as needed

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support production employees during the shift.
• Keep the work area safe, clean, and compliant with food safety rules.
• Ensure daily production goals are met while maintaining product quality and food safety.
• Work side-by-side with team members to solve problems as they come up.
• Help train, motivate, and grow team members, as well as handle sensitive employee interactions, including disciplinary actions, performance management, corrective action, separations, etc.
• Promote continuous improvement throughout the department and work area.
• Provide daily production reports to the Director of Operations.
