Wells Concrete seeks a hands-on 2nd Shift Production Manager to oversee scheduling, production floor supervision, and quality control. Qualifications

• 5+ years of production management experience in an industrial environment.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
• Experience with MS Office and basic data tracking.
• Strong interpersonal skills to interact with employees and lead teams.
• Ability to organize schedules, people, and equipment for maximum production.

Responsibilities

• Oversees and directs production crews on the plant floor, ~90% of time on-site.
• Manages housekeeping and safety initiatives to maintain a safe work environment.
• Maintains open communication with an open-door policy and resolves complex issues.
• Collaborates with Production/Plant Manager, Scheduling Manager, and Yard Manager to plan production.
• Assists Foremen with daily schedules and troubleshooting, fostering teamwork.
• Seeks opportunities to enhance skills, optimize equipment, reduce errors, and cut costs.
