Job summary

Wells in Hillsboro, TX is seeking a 2nd Shift Production Manager to oversee scheduling, floor operations, and safety. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 5+ years of production management experience in industrial settings.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certified.
• Experience with MS Office.
• Interpersonal communication skills and ability to supervise and motivate teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and direct production crews on the plant floor, ~90% on-site.
• Maintain housekeeping and safety initiatives; educate staff on safety practices.
• Facilitate open communication and resolve complex employee issues.
• Collaborate with Production/Plant Manager, Scheduling Manager, and Yard Manager to plan production and material delivery.
• Assist foremen with daily schedules and troubleshooting, promoting teamwork and continuous improvement.
• Identify opportunities to optimize processes, equipment, and cost savings.
