Job summary

Wells is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee daily plant operations, ensuring schedules are met safely, efficiently, and aligned with company goals. This role coordinates manpower, workflow, and resources across departments to maintain quality and cost control.

You will train and develop staff, enforce standards, and drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced production environment. The ideal candidate is hands-on, organized, and skilled at leading people and processes to achieve

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 2+ years of production or manufacturing supervisory experience.
• Strong understanding of production processes and plant operations.
• Ability to read schedules, manage workflow, and coordinate resources effectively.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production plant operations and workflow execution.
• Manage production schedules based on production control priorities.
• Assign crews and schedule labor for production, patching, and finishing work.
• Determine production sequencing and prioritize work based on project needs.
• Coordinate across departments including engineering, drafting, and quality.
• Monitor production efficiency and proactively address delays or defects.
• Oversee inventory tracking and assist with monthly inventory processes.
• Manage purchase orders and support material procurement needs.
• Train, coach, and develop new and existing employees.
• Enforce company policies and procedures, including corrective action when necessary.
