Job summary

Regional Hand Center is seeking a dedicated Physician Assistant to join our upper extremity team in California's Central Valley. The PA will perform patient assessments, assist in surgeries, and manage pre- and post-operative care for hand and forearm conditions.

Ideal candidates hold a California PA license, NCCPA certification, a Master's degree, and at least two years in orthopedics or hand surgery, with strong EMR skills and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited PA program.
• Current California Physician Assistant license.
• NCCPA certification for PAs.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in orthopedics/hand surgery.
• Strong clinical skills and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR).

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments, histories, and physical examinations.
• Assist in surgical procedures and provide pre-/post-operative care.
• Develop and implement patient management plans and education.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and staff to deliver care.
• Perform injections, suturing, and wound care as needed.
• Educate patients and families on health maintenance.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with regulations.
• Assist in managing and coordinating patient flow in the clinic.
