The Institute for Hand & Arm Surgery in New Jersey is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) or Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) for maternity coverage. The on-site role involves evaluating and treating patients with upper-extremity conditions, fabricating custom orthoses, and collaborating with our hand surgeons to deliver high-quality rehabilitation.

Part-time or full-time options are available with direct mentorship from two hand surgeons, for approximately 5–6 months beginning mid September

Qualificações

• Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license required.
• Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) credential preferred but not required.
• Physical Agent Modality Certification preferred.
• Experience in upper extremity rehabilitation and custom orthosis fabrication.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluate and treat patients with upper extremity diagnoses.
• Fabricate custom orthoses.
• Collaborate with hand surgeons to deliver rehabilitation care.
• Provide maternity coverage for approximately 5–6 months starting mid September 2026.
• Work on-site as part of a multidisciplinary hand team.
