NovaCare Rehabilitation in Moon Township is seeking a Full-Time Temporary Hand Therapist-Occupational Therapist for our outpatient orthopedic center to cover maternity leave. The position is based in Moon Township and surrounding areas with full-time hours.

A CHT is preferred, but we will consider OTs with level II fieldwork in hand therapy. We offer mentorship from a network of hand therapists, CEUs, and opportunities for growth within the NovaCare system.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AOTA-accredited school of occupational therapy.
• CPR certification is required.
• Valid driver’s license.

Job description

Position: Occupational Therapist - Hand Therapist
Location: Moon Township and surrounding areas
Schedule: Full-Time Temporary (Maternity Leave Coverage)
NovaCare Rehabilitation is seeking a Full-Time Temporary Hand Therapist-Occupational Therapist for our outpatient orthopedic center! Although a certified hand therapist (CHT) is preferred, we are willing to consider occupational therapists with a level II fieldwork in hands (required). We have a network of hand therapists and CHTs available for support and are excited to mentor occupational therapists aspiring to be a CHT.

Minimum Qualifications

• Graduate of an American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) -accredited school of occupational therapy
• CPR certification

Preferred Qualifications

• At least two years of experience in the application of custom splinting pre and post-op orthopedic
• Minimum two years in adult rehabilitation; hand and splinting experience preferred
