Job summary

Arhaus is seeking an experienced upholsterer to hand tuft chairs and sofas in fabric and leather, delivering 100% quality in a busy Inside Upholstery department.

This non-exempt, full-time role runs Monday to Friday 6:00 am to 3:30 pm with overtime as needed in a heated and cooled furniture plant; you will read orders in English, use staple guns and scissors, and maintain safety and neatness while meeting production targets.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of upholstery procedures.
• Read an order ticket, written in English.
• Use staple gun, staple puller, scissors, and regulators.
• Work safely, neatly, and quickly to meet production requirements.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strict attention to detail.
• Team player, reliable, able to work with minimum supervision, own transportation.
• Able to work weekends and overtime.
• English reading, comprehension, speaking and writing proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Upholster inside sections of chairs and sofas.
• Perform own repair work.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.
