Job summary

Qualifications

• Maryland OT license or eligibility required.
• Experience or strong interest in hand therapy and splint fabrication.
• Ability to perform assessments and document in EMR clearly.
• Strong patient education and motivational skills.
• Good communication with interdisciplinary team.
• Efficient caseload and time management in a busy clinic.
• Commitment to ethical, inclusive practice.
• Current CPR certification; willingness to pursue hand therapy specialization.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat clients with upper extremity and neuromuscular conditions.
• Develop individualized treatment plans for hand and upper-extremity function.
• Administer assessments and provide manual therapy and therapeutic exercises.
• Fabricate custom orthoses/splints as appropriate.
• Educate patients on home programs, injury prevention, safety.
• Document findings and progress notes; collaborate with providers.
• Support clinic operations and maintain safe treatment environment.
