Precision Orthopedics & Sports Medicine in Laurel, Maryland is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist for our Hand Therapy Clinic. The role focuses on diagnostic evaluations and customized treatment to help patients regain maximum function and return to daily activities.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy from ACOTE-accredited program, current AOTA registration, Maryland licensure, and at least one year of experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy from ACOTE accredited school.
• Current registration with the American Occupational Therapy Association required.
• Licensed to practice in the state of Maryland.
• One year of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides diagnostic evaluations and treatment to assigned patients.
• Helps patients reach maximum performance level for daily activities.
• Designs and administers treatment programs to improve function and range of motion.
• Trains patients in use of adaptive equipment and upper-extremity devices.
• Maintains timely patient records and reports within 48 hours.
• Schedules follow-up appointments and coordinates care with staff.
