Job summary

Floridaortho is expanding its Hand & Occupational Therapy team in the Tampa Bay area. We seek a dedicated Occupational Therapist specializing in hand and upper-extremity rehab to evaluate patients, design therapy plans, and deliver advanced interventions across multiple clinic locations.

You will collaborate with hand surgeons and therapists, fabricate splints, document progress, and provide family education to promote patient recovery and independence.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited OT program
• Licensed by the state of Florida as an OT
• Certified by NBCOT (OTR)
• Current CPR certification
• Strong splinting skills in outpatient setting
• Commitment to patient-centered care and teamwork

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage therapy patients, set functional goals
• Develop and implement individualized plans of care
• Deliver hands-on treatments and advanced interventions
• Fabricate and fit custom splints/orthoses
• Coordinate care with physicians and therapy team
• Document evaluations, progress, and outcomes
• Educate patients and families on recovery and home programs
• Collaborate on community education and research
• Provide coverage at FOI locations as needed
