Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• NBCOT-OTR certification.
• Florida licensure.
• Current CPR certification.
• Strong splinting skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced outpatient setting.
• Commitment to patient-centered care and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage therapy patients, identifying functional limitations and setting treatment goals.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans of care.
• Deliver hands-on treatments and advanced therapeutic interventions.
• Fabricate and fit custom splints and orthoses.
• Coordinate patient care with physicians, PTs, PTAs, and the therapy team.
• Document evaluations, progress, treatments, and outcomes per clinical standards.
• Provide patient and family education on injury, recovery expectations, and home programs.
• Collaborate in community education and research opportunities to advance practice.
• Provide coverage at FOI locations as needed.
