Job summary

Spine & Sport Physical Therapy in Camarillo is seeking an Occupational Hand Therapist to join our outpatient ortho clinic. The role focuses on evaluating and implementing OT programs to help patients regain daily living skills and improve well-being.

We offer a competitive salary of $85,000–$120,000 with incentives, including productivity bonuses up to $32,000 annually. Full-time schedule with benefits and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
• Experience in a clinical or rehabilitation setting preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills, empathy, critical thinking, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine patients' functional abilities, limitations, and goals.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for holistic care.
• Administer occupational therapy treatments including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, ADL training, and adaptive equipment provision based on individual needs of each patient.
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques, home exercises, and adaptive strategies to maximize independence.
• Regularly reassess patients' progress and modify treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient evaluations, progress reports, and treatment plans according to regulatory standards.
• Communicate effectively with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Adhere to ethical, legal, and professional standards, maintaining confidentiality and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
• Meet the needs of having patient execute Plan of Care including follow-ups for noncompliance.
• Be a team player to utilize nonclinical staff to support caseloads.
• Delegate to COTA when applicable.
• Drive a collaborative culture based on our service vision.
• Adapt to changes in patient schedules and daily patterns.
• Keep updated on advancements in OT techniques and technologies.
