Spine & Sport Physical Therapy in Indio, CA is seeking an Occupational Therapist specializing in Hand Therapy/Upper Extremity to evaluate, plan, and implement therapy programs for patients in outpatient orthopedics. Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy
• Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
• Previous clinical or rehabilitation experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' functional abilities and goals
• Develop individualized OT treatment plans in collaboration with the care team
• Administer hand therapy, ADL training, and adaptive equipment as needed
• Educate patients and families on techniques, home exercises, and adaptive strategies
• Regularly reassess progress and update plans to optimize outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation per regulatory standards
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and rehab staff for integrated care
• Delegate to COTA when appropriate
• Adapt to changes in schedule while maintaining patient care quality
