Qualifications

• Must hold valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• Doctorate or Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• CPR certification and any other state regulations-required certifications.
• Strong clinical skills with orthopedic, neurological, or geriatric PT focus preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Proficient computer skills for documentation and record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine patients’ functional abilities, limitations, and goals.
• Develop personalized treatment plans based on assessments and goals, using various therapeutic techniques.
• Implement and administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and other interventions to improve mobility and function.
• Maintain accurate and organized documentation of patient progress and outcomes.
• Monitor and adjust treatment plans to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Educate patients and families about therapy procedures, home exercises, and injury prevention.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals for comprehensive care.
• Stay updated on advances in physical therapy techniques and best practices.
• Delegate and work with PTAs when applicable.
• Adapt to changes in patient schedules and daily patterns.
• Ensure ethical and regulatory compliance in care.
