Qualifications

• GA licensure as Physical Therapist or Occupational Therapist, and CHT certification (HTCC) required.
• Typically requires 5 years of PT/OT experience, plus 4,000 hours of direct hand therapy practice.
• Associate degree in OT or PT required.
• Must provide age-appropriate care and demonstrate growth development knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients, develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with patients.
• Plan discharge and provide home programs and family teaching; arrange referrals and equipment as needed.
• Document progress notes, reports, and billing data following department policy.
• Manage caseload and coordinate site coverage with leadership; participate in improvements.
• Assist with positioning, transferring, and other therapy-related tasks; ensure safe care.
