Job summary

Summit Orthopedics, Vadnais Heights Campus, is seeking a Hand Therapist to support orthopedic patient care under the Hand Therapy manager. This full-time role runs Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, with potential to float to multiple Hand Therapy sites as needed.

You will evaluate, plan and implement individualized hand therapy programs, document progress, educate patients and families, and collaborate with physicians.

Qualifications

• OT degree required; advanced degrees preferred.
• One year of hand therapy experience preferred.
• Cert Hand Therapist (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Evaluates, plans and implements patient hand therapy treatment programs.
• Administers treatment per physician orders and confers with medical staff as needed.
• Maintains patient records, charts and discharge summaries.
• Educates patients and families on self-management and exercises.
• Keeps currency with continuing education and safety policies.

Education

Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (required)

Master of Occupational Therapy (preferred)

Doctorate of Occupational Therapy (preferred)
