Summit Orthopedics in Vadnais Heights seeks a Hand Therapist to join our hands-on orthopedic care team. Under Hand Therapy manager supervision, you will plan, interpret, and implement therapy programs for patients.

This full-time role requires a Bachelor's in Occupational Therapy (Doctorate or Masters preferred) with up to one year of hand therapy experience. You may float to additional Hand Therapy sites as coverage is needed, Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or better in Occupational Therapy.
• Doctorate or better in Occupational Therapy preferred.
• Master's or better in Occupational Therapy preferred.
• One year of hand therapy experience preferred.
• Certificate Hand Therapist preferred.

Responsabilités

• Evaluates, plans and implements patient treatment programs in coordination with medical staff.
• Administers treatment per physician orders and clarifies instructions with physicians.
• Recommends hand therapy policies and procedures.
• Maintains patient records, charts and discharge summaries.
• Educates patients and families in self-management and exercise programs.
• Contributes to departmental improvement and efficiency.
