Job summary

Summit Orthopedics in Vadnais Heights, MN, is seeking a Hand Therapist to support orthopedic care by planning and implementing therapy programs under a Hand Therapy manager. This full-time position requires occasional travel to multiple sites and a Monday–Friday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM schedule.

You will evaluate patients, administer treatment per physician orders, educate families, and maintain records. A Bachelors of Occupational Therapy is required; a Masters or Doctorate is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy is required.
• Masters or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy preferred.
• OT licensure/certification varies by state with preference for additional credentials.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates, plans and implements patient hand therapy programs with medical staff.
• Administers treatment per physician orders and consults on patient care.
• Maintains patient records and discharge summaries.
• Educates patients and families on self-management and exercises.
• Keeps current with continuing education and departmental policies.
