Job summary

Summit Orthopedics seeks a Hand Therapist to support orthopedic care under the Hand Therapy manager. You will plan, interpret, and implement specialized hand therapy programs for patients.

This full-time position is based at the Vadnais Heights Campus with a 8:00 AM–4:30 PM schedule and floating coverage to other Hand Therapy sites as needed, contributing to patient care and team collaboration.

Qualifications

• OT Doctorate preferred and licensure as OT
• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy required

Responsibilities

• Evaluates, plans and implements patient hand therapy treatment programs.
• Administers treatment per physician orders and clarifies instructions with physicians.
• Recommends hand therapy policies and procedures for services provided.
• Evaluates patient charts and reports on progress.
• Maintains patient records and discharge summaries.
• Educates patients and families in self-management and exercise programs.
• Participates in clinical educational programs and team planning.
• Ensures safe, organized, and compliant treatment environments.

Education

Doctorate of Occupational Therapy (preferred)

Masters of Occupational Therapy (preferred)

Bachelors of Occupational Therapy (required)
