Job summary

District Medical Group (DMG) in the Phoenix area is seeking a full-time hand surgeon with a strong academic and trauma focus. The role involves joining the Department of Surgery as a faculty member and assisting the Hand Section Chief in developing the clinical service line, and delivering inpatient and outpatient hand care.

The candidate should be board certified and/or eligible, with qualifications for Hand Surgery certification/eligibility, and must be comfortable working in a team-based

Qualifications

• Board certification or eligibility in Hand Surgery is required or planned.
• Strong emphasis on trauma care and collaboration with the trauma team.
• Comfortable with a teamwork approach for patient management and education.

Responsibilities

• Faculty member in the Department of Surgery and support Hand Section Chief.
• Develop clinical services for hand surgery across inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Teach residents and supervise rotators in plastic surgery.
• Provide on-call coverage as part of the hand service.
