Job summary

District Medical Group (DMG) in Phoenix, Arizona, invites a hand surgeon to join a busy academic practice with a strong emphasis on trauma. This full-time position includes faculty responsibilities, teaching, and on-call coverage within the Department of Surgery.

The selected candidate will work with the Hand Section Chief to develop the clinical service line and to provide inpatient and outpatient care, while contributing to resident education across affiliated programs.

Qualifications

• Board certification or eligibility in hand surgery.
• Certificate in Added Qualifications for Hand or Surgery of the Hand required/eligible.
• Experience in residency education and trauma is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a faculty member in the Department of Surgery.
• Assist Hand Section Chief in developing the clinical service line.
• Provide inpatient, outpatient care and on-call coverage.
• Teach residents in a busy hand and trauma practice.
