Job summary

District Medical Group (DMG) in Phoenix, AZ; Department of Surgery seeks a full-time Hand Surgeon with a strong interest in academics and trauma to join a busy hand practice. Faculty appointment with responsibilities in education, clinical service, and on-call coverage at Valleywise Health, a Level 1 Trauma and Burn Center.

The candidate should be board certified and/or eligible and have completed AQ for Hand Surgery.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or eligible in Hand Surgery.
• AQ certificate in Hand Surgery preferred.
• Experience in trauma and resident education is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive hand surgery care for elective and emergent cases.
• Serve as a faculty member and supervise residents in the Hand Section.
• Collaborate with trauma team and contribute to education and research.
