The hand service is integrated with Valleywise Health's Level 1 Trauma and Burn Center, offering teaching opportunities and on-call coverage in a busy practice. Board certified or eligible candidates with added-hand qualifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Board certification or eligibility in Hand Surgery.
• Possession of the Certificate in Added Qualifications for Hand Surgery.
• Experience teaching residents and collaborating with a trauma team.

Responsibilities

• Serve as faculty in the Department of Surgery and assist the Hand Section Chief in developing the clinical service line.
• Provide inpatient and outpatient hand care across elective, urgent, and emergent cases, with trauma emphasis.
• Participate in resident education and on-call coverage.
