Job summary

The role focuses on resident education, contributing to a busy hand service with trauma emphasis and collaboration with the general surgery trauma team. The ideal candidate is board certified and/or eligible and has completed hand surgery qualifications.

Qualifications

• Board-certified in Hand Surgery or eligible.
• Completed Certificate in Hand Surgery / AHQ or equivalent.
• Strong interest in academic medicine and trauma.
• Teamwork oriented for patient management.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a faculty member in the Department of Surgery.
• Assist Hand Section Chief in developing the clinical service line.
• Provide inpatient and outpatient hand services, electives and urgent care.
• Teach residents and supervise rotations.
• Participate in on-call coverage.
