This is a full-time, on-site Hand Soldering, Touch Up and Rework Technician role located in Fremont, CA. The technician will perform precision hand soldering on thru-hole and surface mount components, including fine-pitch and high-density assemblies, following IPC and company standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include inspecting boards, identifying defects, performing touch-up and rework on PCBs (component level), and ensuring work meets quality and reliability requirements. The role involves interpreting assembly drawings and work instructions, using microscopes and soldering tools, and collaborating with production, engineering, and quality teams to resolve issues and support timely delivery. The technician will also maintain a safe and organized workstation, document work performed, and support continuous improvement activities.
Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 35 pounds, work in an ESD-controlled manufacturing environment, and perform repetitive tasks while following all safety procedures.
This position works in a fast-paced electronics manufacturing environment supporting high-mix, low-to-medium volume PCB assembly. Morning and evening shifts are available.
