Job summary

Celestica Maple Grove is seeking a Production Technical Operator 3 to operate soldering equipment and perform assembly tasks. You will set up wave soldering parameters, review routings, and ensure quality solder joints using scopes and basic tools.

The role requires performing hand soldering, following PM schedules, and maintaining equipment per print specifications. A high school diploma is required with pertinent soldering experience.

Qualifications

• Able to fabricate and inspect to J STD 001 and IPC-610.
• Experience reading blueprints and working with scopes in manufacturing.
• Soldering experience in manufacturing including hand and machine soldering.
• Must pass J-STD-001 and IPC-A-610 to be qualified.
• Follows oral and written instructions and reads blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Operate soldering equipment including wave solder and selective soldering.
• Set up and adjust wave height, width and conveyor speed; maintain PM schedules.
• Review routings against prints for consistency and call out revisions.
• Perform periodic hand soldering and solder joint inspection with a scope.
• Prepare wires and components to PWBs and assemblies; manage floor stock.
