Bachoco USA is seeking a Hand/Power Jack Operator for the 1st shift in Fort Smith, AR. The role focuses on supporting marination and processing operations with duties that ensure safe, efficient handling of products and materials.

Key tasks include equipment setup, moving loads with jacks, pallet handling, packing, and providing coverage during breaks. The position is safety sensitive and requires standing and manual handling throughout the shift.

Responsibilities

• Set-up/tear-down workstation & line as required.
• Operates a lift/jack to move and load product.
• Moves pallets from the production area to the cooler.
• Loads outgoing shipments.
• Fills boxes with ice for use in packing product for shipment.
• Fills in for cooler personnel during breaks.

1st Shift – Further Processing – Hand/Power Jack Operator

Dept. 161 - Marination

Shift Time: 6:00 am – 3:00 pm

Pay Rate: $ 16.25 per hour

Assist in the production of quality food products by performing the following duties as applicable to a specific task or department. Essential duties and responsibilitiesinclude but are not limited to: Set-up/tear-down workstation & line as required; Operates a lift/jack to move and load product; Moves pallets from the production area to the cooler; Loads outgoing shipments; Fills boxes with ice for use in packing product for shipment; Fills in for cooler personnel during breaks. Ability to perform job duties at a pace fast enough to keep up with the capacity of the machine and maintains work area in a safe and sanitary manner.Production workers are required to stand for a period of time, walk, and reach with hands and/or arms. The team member must regularly lift and/or move up to 25-40 pounds. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; fumes or airborne particles and extreme cold.
