Job summary

Bachoco USA is seeking a Hand/Power Jack Operator for the 1st shift in Fort Smith, AR. You will support the Marination department by operating a lift/jack to move and load product, set up and tear down stations, and help prepare shipments for outbound orders.

This safety sensitive role requires standing for long periods, regular lifting of 25–40 pounds, and maintaining a clean, sanitary work area. The position offers weekly attendance incentives and benefits including health coverage.

1st Shift – Further Processing – Hand/Power Jack Operator

Dept. 161 - Marination

Shift Time: 6:00 am – 3:00 pm

Pay Rate: $ 16.25 per hour

Assist in the production of quality food products by performing the following duties as applicable to a specific task or department. Essential duties and responsibilitiesinclude but are not limited to: Set-up/tear-down workstation & line as required; Operates a lift/jack to move and load product; Moves pallets from the production area to the cooler; Loads outgoing shipments; Fills boxes with ice for use in packing product for shipment; Fills in for cooler personnel during breaks. Ability to perform job duties at a pace fast enough to keep up with the capacity of the machine and maintains work area in a safe and sanitary manner.Production workers are required to stand for a period of time, walk, and reach with hands and/or arms. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; fumes or airborne particles and extreme cold.
