Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist for the Hand Center in Greensboro, NC. You will perform radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, document patient histories, verify identities, and collaborate with radiologists to ensure accurate imaging.

Applicants must graduate from ARRT-recognized Radiologic Technology program, be registry eligible with completion within 1 year, and hold BLS. The schedule is Monday–Friday, 8a–5p, with 40 hours per week and a benefits-eligible position.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARRT-recognized Radiologic Technology program.
• Must be registry eligible with registry completion within 1 year of hire date. BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Performs and assists with radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
• Documents patient history pertaining to specific procedure on requisition submitted by physician.
• Verifies patient identification by verbal confirmation and proof of identity.
• Prepares and administers contrast media as required.
• Consults with radiologist and other physicians as necessary.
• Selects and operates equipment as dictated by demands of the procedure and demonstrates proper positioning.
• Maintains appropriate records as required by departmental standards.
