Job summary

Atrium Health's Hand Center in Greensboro, NC is seeking a full-time Radiologic Technologist to perform radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, verify patient identity, and document histories. You will collaborate with radiologists to ensure imaging quality and patient safety.

Requirements include graduation from an ARRT-recognized Radiologic Technology program, registry eligibility with completion within 12 months, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARRT-recognized Radiologic Technology program.
• Must be registry eligible with registry completion within 1 year of hire.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
• Documents patient history pertaining to specific procedure on requisition submitted by physician.
• Confirms patient identification by verbal confirmation and validating proof of identity.
• Prepares and administers contrast media as required.
• Consults with radiologist and other physicians as necessary.
• Selects and operates equipment as dictated by demands of individual procedure and demonstrates correct and adequate anatomic positioning skills.
• Maintains appropriate records as required by departmental standards.

• Must be registry eligible with registry completion within 1 year of hire date. BLS required
