Job summary

Petroleum Marketing Group is seeking a store associate focused on delivering an exceptional customer experience and reliable daily operations. You will greet customers, operate the cash register, and assist with merchandising, cleaning and daily tasks to uphold outstanding store standards.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, strong communication skills, and flexible scheduling. You should be able to lift, stand, and work with mobility devices as needed in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED preferred or in progress.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide an exceptional experience.
• Operate cash register with cash handling, lottery management, and shift paperwork.
• Execute daily store tasks with speed, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Sales floor merchandising/stocking.
• Cooler merchandising.
• Vendor check-ins.
• Communicate daily issues/challenges with Management.
• Ensure PMG safety and operational policies are followed.
• Perform tasks with integrity, honesty and respect.
• Support Management with other assigned tasks.
• Exterior/Interior cleaning.

Description

Candidate meets and exceeds customer expectations on an ongoing basis. To ensure every customer has been provided an exceptional experience, candidate must work with their team members and provide support to Management, to complete all store level tasks related to customer service, merchandising, daily cleaning, cash register duties, and other related tasks.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate cash register, according to PMG standards, surrounding cash handling, record keeping, lottery management, and shift paperwork
• Execute daily store tasks with speed, accuracy, and efficiency
• Sales Floor Merchandising/Stocking
• Cooler Merchandising
• Vendor Check-Ins
• Communication of daily issues/challenges with Management
• Ensure PMG policies and procedures surrounding Safety and Operational Excellence are executed
• Perform work with Integrity, Honesty, and Respect
• Support Management with other assigned tasks
• Exterior/Interior Cleaning

Education

• *Preferred* High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or currently enrolled in high school; or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
