Job summary

Petroleum Marketing Group in Northern Kentucky seeks a customer-focused team member to greet customers, operate the register, and maintain a clean, organized store. You will support management with daily tasks and help ensure a positive shopping experience for every customer.

Ideal candidates have retail or cash handling experience, enjoy a fast-paced environment, and can lift and stand for shifts. Reliable transportation and strong communication via mobile devices are important for success.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service environments.
• Cash handling experience preferred.
• Reliable transportation and ability to lift up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

Candidate meets and exceeds customer expectations on an ongoing basis. To ensure every customer has been provided an exceptional experience, candidate must work with their team members and provide support to Management, to complete all store level tasks related to customer service, merchandising, daily cleaning, cash register duties, and other related tasks.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide an exceptional experience on an ongoing basis
• Operate cash register, according to PMG standards, surrounding cash handling, record keeping, lottery management, and shift paperwork
• Execute daily store tasks with speed, accuracy, and efficiency
• Sales Floor Merchandising/Stocking
• Cooler Merchandising
• Vendor Check-Ins
• Communication of daily issues/challenges with Management
• Ensure PMG policies and procedures surrounding Safety and Operational Excellence are executed
• Perform work with Integrity, Honesty, and Respect
• Support Management with other assigned tasks
• Exterior/Interior Cleaning

Education

• *Preferred* High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or currently enrolled in high school; or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
