Petroleum Marketing Group is hiring a frontline associate to deliver an exceptional customer experience in our store. You will greet customers, operate the cash register, stock shelves, maintain cleanliness, and support management with daily tasks.

Ideal candidates are reliable, possess basic cash handling skills, have access to dependable transportation, and can lift and stand for extended periods. Flexibility in scheduling is required to meet store needs.

Qualifications

• Candidate should provide a consistent level of customer service and support to management.
• Experience handling cash and operating a register is preferred.
• Reliable transportation and ability to lift and stand for periods of time are required.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide an exceptional experience on an ongoing basis
• Operate cash register, including cash handling, record keeping, odds and end paperwork
• Perform daily store tasks with speed, accuracy and efficiency
• Merchandise sales floor and coolers
• Vendor check-ins and communication of issues with management
• Uphold PMG safety and operational policies
• Support management with other assigned tasks
• Exterior/Interior cleaning

Candidate meets and exceeds customer expectations on an ongoing basis. To ensure every customer has been provided an exceptional experience, candidate must work with their team members and provide support to Management, to complete all store level tasks related to customer service, merchandising, daily cleaning, cash register duties, and other related tasks.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide an exceptional experience on an ongoing basis
• Operate cash register, according to PMG standards, surrounding cash handling, record keeping, lottery management, and shift paperwork
• Execute daily store tasks with speed, accuracy, and efficiency
• Sales Floor Merchandising/Stocking
• Cooler Merchandising
• Vendor Check-Ins
• Communication of daily issues/challenges with Management
• Ensure PMG policies and procedures surrounding Safety and Operational Excellence are executed
• Perform work with Integrity, Honesty, and Respect
• Support Management with other assigned tasks
• Exterior/Interior Cleaning

Requirements

Education
