Job summary

Petroleum Marketing Group is seeking a motivated store associate to warmly greet customers and deliver an exceptional experience. You will support management by handling daily store tasks related to customer service, merchandising, cleaning, cash register duties, and other store activities.

Responsibilities include operating the cash register, cash handling, record keeping, stocking merchandise, conducting cooler merchandising, and communicating daily issues to Management.

Qualifications

• Preferred High school diploma or GED (or currently enrolled)
• Customer service experience preferred
• Ability to lift, stand, and bend, and operate a POS system if needed

• Operate cash register, cash handling, and shift paperwork
• Execute daily store tasks with speed, accuracy, and efficiency
• Merchandise on the sales floor and stocking

Candidate meets and exceeds customer expectations on an ongoing basis. To ensure every customer has been provided an exceptional experience, candidate must work with their team members and provide support to Management, to complete all store level tasks related to customer service, merchandising, daily cleaning, cash register duties, and other related tasks.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate cash register, according to PMG standards, surrounding cash handling, record keeping, lottery management, and shift paperwork
• Execute daily store tasks with speed, accuracy, and efficiency
• Sales Floor Merchandising/Stocking
• Cooler Merchandising
• Vendor Check-Ins
• Communication of daily issues/challenges with Management
• Ensure PMG policies and procedures surrounding Safety and Operational Excellence are executed
• Perform work with Integrity, Honesty, and Respect
• Support Management with other assigned tasks
• Exterior/Interior Cleaning
