Join to apply for the Hair Stylist - Full Time role at World Equestrian Center.

Located inside The Equestrian Hotel, Calluna Spa is seeking a Spa Hair Stylist.

Primary Responsibilities

1. Perform hair services that meet established guidelines and fulfill guest expectations.
2. Use universal precautions when providing services.
3. Assess contraindications to determine service feasibility.
4. Maintain product knowledge and knowledge of all spa services offered.
5. Recommend products for home use.
6. Perform treatments based on current certifications.
7. Suggest additional beneficial treatments to guests.
8. Explain product ingredients and benefits to guests.
9. Perform various hair cutting techniques, styling, chemical services, and scalp treatments.
10. Manage appointment schedules and maintain cleanliness of work areas.
11. Maintain client records and complete side work.
12. Attend meetings and professional trainings.
13. Ensure equipment disinfection and assist with facility maintenance.
14. Report incidents and perform other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 25 lbs.
• Stand for long periods.
• Perform balancing, reaching, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, and other physical activities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 3 years of active hairstyling experience with color services.
• Previous spa customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to explain treatments and provide excellent customer service.
• Strong organizational, communication, and team skills.
• Willingness to work varied hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Proficiency with hairstyling tools and chemicals.
• Awareness of proper body mechanics to prevent injury.
