Job summary

Jack Link's Inc. is seeking a dedicated Micro Lab Technician for a 3rd shift (Fri-Sun, 4am–5pm). Primary duties include maintaining the LCOP, performing weekly swabbing, testing finished products, and managing the Micro Lab documentation in a fast-paced meat snack environment.

The role requires HAACP familiarity, strong data accuracy, and ability to work in refrigerated conditions. Travel may be required occasionally, with full benefits offered as part of Link Snacks Total Rewards.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Complete HAACP certification within 6 months of hire/transfer.
• Demonstrate the ability to implement solutions to quality issues.
• Knowledge of quality assurance methods, product testing, measurements, and regulatory documentation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain LCOP by weekly Listeria swabbing in sampling areas.
• Perform weekly pre-operational environmental swabbing and testing.
• Handle environmental air monitoring and sampling.
• Maintain the process water monitor program.
• Record test results in company files and ensure documentation accuracy.
• Assist with COA/COC/COG documentation in micro lab records.
• Ensure a clean and safe work environment and proper inventory of micro lab supplies.
