Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking a HACCP / FSQA Micro Technician Lead to oversee HACCP control points, conduct inspections, and maintain documentation to ensure food safety compliance. You will lead HACCP techs, verify daily records, and drive corrective actions in a fast-paced plant environment.

The role requires lifting up to 70 lbs, standing long hours in a cold/hot environment, and willingness to work overtime including weekends. 1st shift, with Monday–Friday schedule and weekend support as needed.

Qualifications

• Requires FSQA or HACCP related experience
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to read and write daily audits and paperwork
• Must reside in the United States and be eligible to work

Responsibilities

• Assign work areas to HACCP techs.
• Monitor HACCP control points and verify data on HACCP/SSOP records.
• Perform daily pre-operational inspections across plant areas.
• Document noncompliance and follow up with preventive actions.
• Audit SSOP and GMP compliance and enforce GMP policies.
• Monitor the pest control program.
• Enter data for HACCP/SSOP documentation.
• Assist with investigations of foreign material findings.
• Support team during emergencies or busy periods.
• Perform thermometer calibrations.
• Inform supervisor of mechanical issues.
• Other duties as assigned.
