Job summary

University Health Services at UT Austin is seeking a Medical Assistant (PRN) for the Gynecology clinic to assist providers and support patient care on a part-time basis. The role is on-site at UT Austin with a 19-hour weekly schedule.

The ideal candidate will have a Medical Assistant program/certification, CPR within 90 days, EMR experience, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program, certificate, or registration.
• CPR certification within 90 days of hire.
• Experience using electronic medical records.
• Ability to work independently.
• Minimum one year of outpatient clinic experience.
• Experience with a personal computer.

Responsibilities

• Assists with the evaluation and care of patients to be seen by UHS providers.
