Job summary

Aspire Fertility Austin is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant for a PRN role at our Austin, TX clinic. The ideal candidate educates, treats, and informs patients for their appointments and excels at building patient relationships.

Responsibilities include assisting physicians, preparing patients for exams, documenting care, organizing rooms, and handling phones and scheduling. 2 years of MA experience, OB/GYN preferred, and phlebotomy certification preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant program; Certified or Registered MA preferred.
• 2 years experience required; OB/GYN experience preferred.
• Phlebotomy experience required; certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assisting physician with patient care.
• Prepare patients for exams or treatment including taking patient history, vitals and phlebotomy.
• Document patient care in the medical records system accurately and in a timely manner.
• Organize, stock and clean rooms as well as sterilize instruments.
• Answering phones/scheduling appointments as well as general administrative tasks.
