Job summary

Duke Women’s Cancer Care Raleigh seeks an Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology – Division of Gynecologic Oncology. The APP will work in outpatient clinics and at Duke Raleigh Hospital, with cross coverage at Duke Cancer Center and Duke University Hospital in Durham, NC.

Qualifications

• Nurse Practitioners: Master’s in Nursing required.
• Physician Assistants:Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.

Responsibilities

• Care for patients with gynecologic malignancies and benign conditions.
• Obtain histories, perform exams, document in patient records.
• Order and schedule labs and procedures; discuss options with patients.
• Assist in diagnostic/therapeutic procedures and in the OR as needed.
• Collaborate with medical teams for timely care and follow-up.
