Job summary

Texas Oncology San Antonio is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our Gynecology Oncology team in our Medical Center location. This full-time, on-site role runs 8:30a–5:00p, Monday–Friday, with strong emphasis on autonomous practice within a physician-led environment.

The ideal candidate will have an NP or PA background, current licensure, and experience in oncology settings, plus a commitment to teamwork and professional development.

Qualifications

• MSN in Nursing and completion of a Nurse Practitioner program.
• Current RN license and board-certified NP licensure in practicing state.
• Optionally PA path with NCCPA certification and PA license.

Responsibilities

• Direct care and management in outpatient/inpatient/surgical settings.
• Document visits, educate patients and families, review tests.
• Prescribe medications and manage symptoms with physicians.
• Collaborate with the care team and participate in tumor board.
• Utilize EHR per policy; engage in staff and community education.
• Perform duties as assigned.
